In spring 2022, new dates will be offered for performances of John Neumeier's ballet "The Sleeping Beauty" that were cancelled in January due to Corona. On May 27, 28 and 31, and June 2 and 3, 2022, John Neumeier's new version, which recently premiered at the Hamburg State Opera, will be back on the schedule, replacing the planned series of performances of "Lady of the Camellias." Tickets for the four cancelled performances are valid for the new date, of which ticket holders have been informed in writing. Regardless, cardholders still have the option to be reimbursed for the card value until February 12. Any remaining tickets for the substitute performances will become available for purchase on the day when ticket sales begin for the month in question (March 7 for May, April 4 for June). Subscribers can use their ticket swap credits or buy additional tickets from Thursday before the general on-sale date.
The Hamburg Ballet had to postpone the four performances of the premiere series of "The Sleeping Beauty" on January 6, 7, 9 and 10. Several dancers in the ensemble had contracted the omicron variant of the corona virus. These are the substitute dates:

Your ticket resp. your subscription card remains valid for the new date. You are not required to exchange it. Please do note the changed start time of the performance.
If you had merely reserved your ticket so far, please get in touch with the Ticket Services staff. The reservation will be valid until February 12, 2022 at the latest. We will have to cancel any tickets that have not been paid for by that day.
Should you be unable to attend the performance on the new date, of course you may return your ticket or this part of your subscription for a refund. Should you wish to do so, please contact our Ticket Services staff by February 12, 2022. As a subscriber, you also have the possibility to swapping the ticket, as per the usual subscription conditions. We kindly ask for your understanding that it is not possible to swap directly for another performance date of "The Sleeping Beauty".
In addition to the four make-up dates in May and June 2022, there will be an additional fifth performance on June 2, giving all interested parties the opportunity to purchase tickets for John Neumeier's latest ballet production in advance starting April 4.
