A warm welcome to the dancers, who are joining the company this season and who will enrich our company with their personalities and skills from now on!
Futaba Ishizaki, Charlotte Kragh and Daniele Bonelli are joining the company as Soloists and previously danced with the Ballett am Rhein. Futaba Ishizaki is no stranger to the Hamburg audience: from 2011 to 2017 she had been dancing with the Hamburg Ballet. Like Futaba Ishizaki, Charlotte Kragh is also a former student of the School of the Hamburg Ballet and is now joining the company. Before his engagement with the Ballett am Rhein, Daniele Bonelli had graduated from the ballet school at La Scala in Milan.
The former apprentices Eleanor Broughton and Caspar Sasse as well as the former dancers of the National Youth Ballet Almudena Izquierdo and Moisés Romero have been promoted to the corps de ballet. Coming from the Ballett am Rhein, Joaquin Angelucci, Jack Bruce and Evan l'Hirondelle will now also be dancing in the corps de ballet.
We welcome as new apprentices Bernadette Sinues, Hana Watanabe and Kohana Williams as well as Bruno Garibaldi, Javier Martínez, Filipe Rettore and Jakub Zouplna from the School of the Hamburg Ballet and the ballet school of La Scala in Milan.
